John M. Musgrove

John Musgrove is the owner and general manager of Musgrove Funeral Home.
He attended and graduated from John A Gupton College of Mortuary Science in Nashville, TN with an associate of applied Science degree in December 2021. He has been serving families in funeral service since June 2019.
John is married to Dr. Emily (Vowell) Musgrove, who is a veterinarian and together, they make their home in Taylorsville. John is also a licensed and ordained minister, serving as pastor of Springhill Baptist Church in Laurel.
When not serving families at the funeral home, John enjoys working in his garden, spending time with his wife and family, singing and playing bass guitar in his family's Gospel trio, as well as performing magic tricks as he is also an accomplished stage magician.
It has always been the dream of John to own a funeral home. He is honored to serve the families of Smith County and other surrounding counties with affordable prices and superior service.
